Kristin Scott Thomas talks Bel Ami, Corsets, and Rob

Kristen Scott Thomas recently discussed Bel Ami and Rob at a fashion show. Here’s what she had to say:

Kristin Scott Thomas took a break from filming to attend the Giles Deacon show, but she won’t have any trouble slipping back into her period costume on the set of “Bel Ami,” an adaptation of the 19th-century novel by Guy de Maupassant. “I quite like wearing corsets,” the British actress mused. Her co-stars include Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Robert Pattinson, but Scott Thomas said she had seen no evidence of the “Twilight”-induced hysteria that Pattinson routinely unleashes. “I keep hearing he’s fantastically megafamous, but you wouldn’t know it. He doesn’t have hundreds of people trailing him,” she said.

KST dreaming of having her corset unlaced by Georges.

About WastingTheMorning

Known around the internet as "MP". Not a very good fangirl but devoted nonetheless. Loved the underlying message in Water for Elephants that was anti-cruelty. Would love to hear Sara Gruen's thoughts one day over coffee.

“you wouldn’t know it” — oh she’ll know it when she has to walk through the gates of hell to get into the Bel Ami premiere! Of course, if this movie is rated R (which it really should be), that will eliminate some of the ear-piercing noise!

why is so much calmer for him in england? we must be unable to control ourself…..yea,thats about right i don’t get the screamers but i like to look

  7. Natalia says:

I think it’s so quiet because they do indoor scenes now, it’s all well protected and closed, I’m sure there will be more fans for external sceens. It’s also not Twilight and it’s not in the US. I wonder if Rob misses the screams LOL.
